Raku Art

Artist, Jeremy Diller, puts his heart and soul into each handmade creation.

Each Raku art piece is made by hand, and fired in an outdoor kiln to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit.  it is pulled from the red hot kiln and plunged into a sand pit with wood chips.  The intense heat of the Rake piece causes the wood shavings to spontaneously ignite.  The flames create unique colors and the outdoor atmosphere shocks the glaze, causing cracks in the finish.  Not everyone survives trial by fire; the ones that do cultivate strength and beauty.

"I am grateful to the people who let me into their lives through art." - Jeremy Diller
