Product Details
The End of the Trail sculpture depicts Seneca Chief John Big Tree, a weary Native American man, wearing only the remains of a blanket and carrying a spear. He is hanging limp as his weary horse with swollen eyes comes to the edge of the Pacific Ocean. The statue is a commentary on the damage the Euro-American settlement inflicted upon Native Americans, and embodies the suffering and exhaustion of the people driven from their native lands.
This copper plated resin sculpture stands 11.5"w x 13.5"h and is mounted on a black base.
